Spring Wish List

1. Bright Red heels: I've been eyeing these red suede pumps from Here for a few weeks now and to my luck they are now on sale. Original price $100.00 Sale price $69.98....SCORE!!!

2. Turqoise Jewelry: There is something about gold layered with turqoise that automatically reminds me of warm weather and boho chic but as i was going through all my accessories/jewelry, I realized I have none but a pair of native inspired chandalier style earings that i probably haven't worn in a good year and a half. I fell in love with these Forever21 bracelets that already have both colors incorporated into one. Found Here

3. Neon Sandals: Sometimes (Very rarely) I could be a Jeans and T-shirt kinda girl but if  I could get my hands on a pair of casual neon sandals, i would contemplate those jeans and t-shirts a little more. I'm on the lookout for a similar pair as the ones above.

4. Pastel Colored Jeans: Colored Jeans are everywhere! Nothing says "Spring is here!" than a pair of pastel colored jeans and in my wish list, Yellow jeans is on top of that list.

5. Peplum Skirts: A structered pencil skirt with a peplum waist shows off your figure in all the right areas. I love this Zara one but i would want to shorten it about 3 inches. You could find it Here

6. Dainty rings to be worn as knuckle rings: If you've read my past posts, you may know how obsessed i'am with dainty jewelry especially rings. I like to pile them on top of each other or where them as knuckle rings. It is a bit hard to use the ones i already own since they are not made to be worn on the knuckles. So i went to Etsy where they have several selections.

Now here's a little twist to your everyday black or nude ballerina flat. The Cap-toe ballerina flat is the perfect casual flat that can give your classic look edge or vice-versa. Now, I'm definitely a heel type of girl but when it comes to running quick errands around town, I can always rely on my comfy flats to help me go in and out of stores, dr's office, farmers market and when I have a precious 8 month old that comes along with me, I need all the help I can get to keep me comfortable. Although their is an over-whelming amount of different styles of flats to choose from, I feel it's very important to always have a couple of classic black or beige ballerina flats but I admit that sometimes they can feel a bit "Blah!" that's why I've been obsessing over these two-tone, Chanel inspired flats. I can very much see myself using these not only as my weekday choice of  shoes, but also out to brunch with my husband and son wearing a sundress on many upcoming spring sundays!

Spring is in the air

         With spring approaching  us in just shy of a day, my mood is already feeling such great energy. I recently catch myself daydreaming often of all the fun and exciting plans i have in store with my little family: Beach, Picnics, Late afternoon walks, and of course lots and lots of shopping for spring and summer which almost immediately reminds me i really need to amp up my workout routine if i want to be in time to wear my pastel colored denim shorts and flirty, floral sundresses. I cannot say enough how much I've been loving PASTELS!!!! They bring just the right amount of feminine touch. As I've said before, I've never been a huge fan of the bright color-blocking trend. Don't get me wrong, i love a pop of color in my outfit, maybe a neon nail polish or a bright clutch but it's not for me. Now...color-blocking with pastels? Yes, yes and yes!!! I love the soft colors paired together. The Spring 2012 Louis Vuitton collection (pictured below) had everything I'm looking for this spring season: color, texture and structure. Perfection!

2.     Neon-Colored Clutch: A bright colored clutch will definitely help make a statement to any plain outfit and give it POP! I can't wait to wear it with an all white outfit. This fun neon yellow clutch is from the Michael Kors 2009 fall collection.

3.    Sparkling cross ring: www.forever21.com I've been pretty obsessed with small, delicate accessories recently and this would be a great collection to add to my expanding dainty jelwery/acessories collection. (FOREVER21 $3.50) 

4.    Gold cicle necklace: http://www.etsy.com/search_results.php?search_type=all&includes%5B0%5D=tags&search_query=dainty+necklaces&page=1 This round gold necklace is dainty, small and delicate...everything i would want in an everyday necklace that could easily be worn with a flowy dress or a white tee shirt. love it!!!! I'm not too picky when it comes to makeup bags, as long as it's big enough to carry the crazy amount of unnecessary makeup products that i haul around. I found this great orange cosmetic bag at Forever21 that is roomy enough and has the fun factor that makes me wish spring & summer could be here NOW! (FOREVER21 $5.80 )

6.    MAC Cosmetics Dragon Lady Lipstick: www.maccosmetics.com   I've been eyeing this lipcolor at my local Mac Counter and i'm yet to get it. I have a similar one "Morange" which looks very similar to Dragon Lady, maybe that's the reason i never get it but i'm determined to pick it up this month. I just can't get enough of a bright lipcolor. I love wearing a daring color when least expected. With jeans and a tshirt or leather leggings with a dressy top. (MAC COSMETICS $14.50)

I've been wearing this style for years and i'm glad to be seeing them more on the streets. I'm excited to wear this camel color heel with jeans or flowy high-waisted shorts. Jan Myglam

         If your not already familiar with Myglam, it is an online monthly subscription founded by Youtube beauty guru Michelle Phan. When you visit the site www.myglam.com it asks you to answer a few questions about your beauty preferences for your profile. It costs $10.00 per month and each month you will recieve 4-5 top brand full sized products OR deluxe samples in a small yet cute bag that you could easily use to store some makeup, pencils or as in my case...reciepts. In my opinion, ten dollars a month is a great deal to get products to try that i otherwise would have never tried. This is my second month recieving my glam bag and i highly recommend it!

So loud, So bright

Neons, neons and more neons! This trend will continue to be popular in this upcoming 2012 spring/summer seasons. We got a short taste of neon bright pinks, oranges, blues and yellows this past summer with the daring color-blocking trend. I must confess that I personally have not been a huge fan of that bold trend but I do love to incorporate some neon colors in my own outfits. Maybe it's a pair of bright red jeans or a neon nail color. It's a little more subtle and can easily make a neutral outfit definetley stand out!

New Year, New Fashion

           Okay, I know I'm about a 8 days late to wish everyone a HAPPY NEW YEAR! but better late than never right?!? So excited for a new year 2012 and new fashion. I always love to browse around fashion blogs and magazines to get an insight of what new trends our favorite designers have in store for us. These are some of the current trends that i think will be the best of 2012!
